So far there's no proof of anything. The women have nothing to offer as proof, and knowing this 40 years later know very well their stories can't be verified. So there ya go, their word against his. There should be a burden of truth, but being political in nature, morality plays no part and laws are such that they won't.
The latest woman to magically appear barely looked up from the statement written down before her. No doubt the gist of it was hers, but there's no doubt in my mind it was thoroughly constructed and edited elsewhere, and not by a Republican either.

Jeff Sessions believes the women. Mitch McConnell believes the women. Paul Ryan believes the women. Ted Cruz has turned on him. The chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee just said, "He is unfit to serve in the United States Senate."
What are you people clinging to? He's toast, and rightfully so..

This is the same US Senate once dominated by such pillars of virtue as Chris Dodd (D) and Ted Kennedy (D)?
Quote:
“Dodd and Kennedy were also reported to have made a ‘human sandwich’ with a waitress at La Brasserie, another Capitol Hill restaurant. The report had it that Kennedy threw the woman on Dodd, who was slumped in a chair, and then jumped on top of her. She was said to have run screaming from the room.”

Even if guilty, I'd say he'd fit right in. On either side of the aisle.

Each and every one of them listed above have regularly proven to be either politically incompetent or outright stupid at one time or another, often both.
We have some woman here, with 35 years to come forward against Moore --a guy who ran numerous statewide political campaigns in this time-- who failed to j'accuse him at any time.
But there is now now ... she has a press conference, and she reads her ordeal .... reads it. Never went to the police at any time. And who is there to hand her these type-written accusations but Gloria Allred, an ambulance chaser of the worst kind. A Bill and Hillary Clinton supporter, no less.
So we have Judge Roy Moore and common sense on one side, and Jeff Sessions, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Gloria Allred, the Washington Post and a few other miscreants on the other side.
But, all these people believe the woman.
What a joke.

They aren't sources for anything. They're Republican leaders who no longer support Moore, which might be fairly important to the future of his campaign.

Forty years without getting caught is high moral standing for a politician in Alabama.

Forty years! Wow ! He should be holding classes for his fellow politicians on how to keep scandalous behavior hidden for for so long. They would be falling all over each other to sign up !

Moore should get all that's coming to him if he's guilty of anything with an underage girl.
However, let's not forget, as someone brought up earlier in this thread, that the party dancing with glee and collecting all these accusations is the same party that gleefully allowed a former KKK member to sit in the Senate his whole life, with nary a whimper of protest over his horrible crimes of the past.
Funny how this stuff works.
None of the vocal left on here, like Dan, Mosty, et al ever, to my recollection, posted on and on about Byrd while he was alive and well in the US Senate all those years...
They were probably singing his praises just like Obama, Clinton (Hillary & Bill) and all the rest when he finally died...

Both sides blow PA. Ted Kennedy killed a girl while we walked on the moon. Wore a neck brace and told the country " don't worry i'm fine. "
