How can Elkabong tell people to take off their face diapers? Wasn't he himself selling home-made face masks when the covid outbreak took away his chess-teaching business about a year and a half ago?

Yep, wife is a master seamstress. She made beauty pageant dresses in high school to pocket $ for college tuition.
also, remember that you couldn't leave the house in Dallas county for 2 weeks in Mar-April 2020 unless you went to work & masks were required. The demand was there. And we were housebound b/c chess classes were shut down
To brag on the wife's seamstress skills, her design was copied by a Mfgr here I knew. Her masks could be worn w/o fogging glasses and didn't obstruct a hearing aid

Most people coming in are hard core democrats.
We looked at a house in Marshall over a year ago, Bill Moyers owned it 20-30 years ago. Nice home. The new owner is from WA, our realtor (a HS friend of my wife) says the new owner is not exactly a popular person in the neighborhood. Very loud and open about her politics
The more we talk to people out there (east TX), the more homes are purchased by people from CA, and the west coast. Even from Delaware

It's bad enough so many leftists are hypocrites but they're also too stupid to realize it, which is a clear indication that their self-awareness tank is perpetually empty.

Chess should have been deemed essential.

Here is the website that shows the top 10 states. https://www.census.gov/newsroom/pres...estimates.html
New York lost 319,020
California lost 261,902
Illinois lost 113,776
New York lost the most % wise at 1.6, followed by Illinois at .9% and then California at .7% Which state lost the fourth most citizens? Massachusetts at 37,497
Texas and Florida gained the most with 310,288 and 211,196. The top 10 states that gained were all Republican states with the exception of Nevada that came in 10th. Then again, Nevada will go red again in the near future.
The conclusion is easy, people are leaving high tax, authoritarian states for low tax, freedom from government states. Now, ask any Democrat, and I mean any, and they will tell you that the country will be so much better off when they can turn Texas into California and Florida into New York. The problem is the numbers tell an entirely different story.

The "left" destroys everything it touches.
There's a difference between having idealistic goals and understanding how the real world works so the policies you implement help instead of doing damage.

It's no wonder at all that the bible places a great deal of emphasis on mankind to gain true knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
