One of those college coaches who is a great recruiter who is average on X and O's who could win most games due to having superior athletes. Without superior athletes and not knowing how to deal with grown men, he is toast.
Look at Trevor Lawrence, his is pretty much the worst starting QB in the NFL and lacks week to week improvement.

I can't stand that SOB, never have. He is an arrogant, cocky asshole who treats everyone like crap. With that said, it is complete BS that the Jaguars are refusing to pay his remaining salary. I will keep it simple. If Jacksonville was 11-2 would they have still fired him? The clear answer is NO! So this getting fired with cause excuse doesn't fly with me. They made a huge mistake hiring him, now suffer the consequences financially.

I have no problem with him getting stiffed. He should have been fired for cause when he did not fly home with the team after a loss, and instead went out and partied with a smile on his face. That was a big red flag that he wasn't making the effort needed to succeed as an NFL coach.

I'm curious, why would you hope he finds another job? He's made enough money for 10 lifetimes and I'd rather he never get hired again. Maybe that is just me, but he had his shot IMO.

Sadly, you might be right, but possible things are changing. Kicking a professional football player is going to be hard to explain to parents when you are recruiting their 17 year old son. And you can bet other coaches will use that in recruiting too.

Maybe in college, but not in the pros. I just wonder what his recruiting secret is.

I feel like he should get a "second chance" with a coaching job
Like what geroge was saying that all he has to do is apologize

A second chance? He did "retire" from Ohio St. after covering up a domestic abuse scandal so the NFL was his second chance.
Think how out of touch he is to blow that opportunity, couldn't even last one season and it actually started in the preseason by attempting to hire a scandal ridden coach.
That said, I fully expect him to get another college gig. Petrino is a great example of getting multiple chances.
