After watching the Crimson Tide's Play last night (when they tackled very effectively) their coaches should go over the PRO'S training camps next season to help them re-learn some basics.

Correct team won, but both played well for three quarters.

I think the issue is two fold, the declining amount of contact drills in practice, plus guys that want to make a spectacular flying hit and get on Sportscenter instead of the text book tackle where you wrap the guy up.

"Sports Center" plays?? - You got a couple stars who run wild on defense, but otherwise, if it's a play-call like a blitz or stunt, I want support from the others.

I had the physicality, in college I put up what today would still be top combine numbers and that was 40 years ago. My problem was a football I.Q.
of zero, no field vision among other things. Baffling as I was always on the honor roll, but when I stepped on a football field my I.Q. dropped to room temperature.
