Again, not my point. My point was, guns are needed by law abiding citizens to FEND OFF a certain SICK MENTALITY (which led this particular whack job to use a car this time).

It's the MENTALITY of lawlessness and whatever other BS justification they have in their head where they feel they can take whatever it is they think is owed them...including other people's lives.

This was called for by Islamic clerics 6 months ago. Hundreds have been attacked. But nobody in the media links the two things together

I did...as soon as I heard about it, which was on the train at Penn Station, roughly 15-20 minutes after the attack.

I was walking towards Penn Station in the moments after the attack...an unbelievable amount of police cars and ambulances streaming to scene down 7th avenue, and a surreal amount of helicopters in the air. I thought something had happened at the Empire State Building which is just down the block on 34th street...

By the way, did they ever release the name of the attacker?
