Martyrdom
Significant development.
Unlikely to have a favorable outcome.

The man was advocating a ceasefire at the US embassy.
Not that I'd expect many around here to have a handle on facts.

He was pro-Iranian. They kill one of ours, we kill one of theirs. Happy it was someone up the food chain.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Iranian people rejoicing.
What he was 'planning' is not what was coming out of his mouth. He was actively planning to kill Diplomats/Americans, per reports. I'd be careful with YOUR handle on the perceived facts.

The assassination of a high ranking Iranian military man answers the question of what we will do if future planned attacks occur.
The days of diplomacy and many given to evil regimes have now ceased. Does the little rocketman pay attention to this?

Just wait
This is exactly the type of senseless killing that you'd expect
with an incompetent a**hole running our country.
