I would like an intelligent explanation of the actions of Rudy G and Powell....
Why would they want to regularly embarrass themselves like this?
And in the case of Rudy, OVER and OVER and OVER again...
Why would Rudy willingly make himself a laughingstock the world over?
What's the motivation?
Why would Powell absolutely shred her credibility as a lawyer after putting together what looks like a solid career up until this point?

The Rudy stuff is actually fascinating because he really seems to have lost his mind.
The Borat incident was so stupid on his part you almost have to think he was in on it. The problem is, nearly everything he has done and said since then is just as dumb.
I’m trying to figure out how not one person thought to stop his tirade as his hair dye was rolling down his cheeks the other day.
He is 76, so I suppose it is possible his mind has left the building.

Asking for rational explanations in the era of Trump will leave you with a headache.
Very little makes sense anymore. Nothing is tied to a coherent ideology or vision anymore.
Some have just been saying it longer than others.

Some years ago...a vain friend of mine who couldn't deal with his baldness was using that hair-in-a-can paint spray that used to be advertised on TV at that time. He got caught in the rain once, and I couldn't understand why he got so freaked out and started running like a wild-man looking for cover. And then I saw the paint streaks running down his face and neck. That's what I was reminded of when I saw that Rudy clip.
