He is not everything anybody likes complete, but he is better than the last few democrats that were liberal on social issues, but were basically GOP on economics. Don't buy into that lie that there was any real difference between Bush and Obama or Clinton. They all put the banks and hedge funds first and foremost. At least in one of debates, he was the only one who raised his hand when asked whether go in Iraq was a mistake. It has been a disaster both human and in an economic sense. We were worse off when left office. It even worse under Obama. We should have known the Shiites were going have to put in power to change. Israel will not allow that to happen, but then again how many ISIS has killed? America' s strongest ally according to some, but so far they could not be more of supporter of radical Islam by blocking anything that might actually harm ISIS, etc. Nothing will change until ISIS's enemies unite. That includes groups that Israel does like. Trump seams to be only America political leader that know that. Europe and the USA can not win the War alone. No sense wasting more money and American lives. More American troops on the ground is not going to change anything but names of radicals.
Except for your last sentence, that is an excellent contribution to this discussion.
Welcome back Robert!

Whoever is angry at trump isn't angry due to him possibly making a bad prez and or 'ruining' the country. The only thing we ought to be concerned about is if the new Prez makes the country better. This is the furthest thing from most people's minds though,

What happened in Nevada with the Sanders supporters and death threats towards the Democratic elite. Just imagine if it was Trump supporters at a convention with death threats how the media would have handled it. Trump will reveal his taxes when Hillary reveals her speeches. Trump is going to win this election. Oddly enough Bernie is helping the cause.

No actually that is exactly why I don't like Trump. On the issues I care about the man has the worst agendas of the field (aside from Bernie) or has flip flopped on a grand scale. Sometimes within hours his position has changed. I feel he has absolutely no idea what he is doing or how to make America great again. His words not mine. The character assassination is still fun though as he provides ample fodder.

More flip-flops than Romney and Kerry combined, but it hasn't mattered. Is there any issue where he could flip-flop and his supporters would care? I think the wall is the only one; it's so central to his nationalistic/populist campaign.

So Trump supporters - are there any issues that Trump could change his position on that wouldn't alter your support for him? The wall? Trade?

If anything diminished my support for Trump, where would that measure of support go? Certainly not to Hillary; not to an independent run by Bernie; not to any half-baked Anyone But Trump insurgency by Kristol and Romney.

If he picked Dick Cheney I don't think I would vote for him. That would be a big turn off for me.

I said much earlier that the wall was a "metaphorical wall." It was used to draw attention to the problem, but that doesn't mean he won't attempt to build it anyway.

I haven't listened to any of his speeches lately, but he is acting more and more presidential--not in his speech necessarily--but in his actions--almost as if he already has the job.

Meeting with Kissinger
Releasing Supreme Court potential nominees
Working with the RNC over donations among other things
etc., etc., etc.

I think you have to admit the guy does have a plan for getting the job.

He will certainly pull more than 40% of the Republican vote. I think it's safe to say he draws less than the 93% Romney did 4 years ago.

I don't think my comment actually needs an explanation. I'm sure you and 95% of the posters reading it understood the context.
