I don't understand...who exactly are the "healthy people who are being told to quit living their lives"? Are we being locked up at home with no place to go? I just came back from two weeks in Florida...and I was two weeks in Las Vegas before that. Is anybody stopping me from traveling...or from going out to eat in a nice restaurant? Am I supposed to complain because certain bars, nightclubs and casinos have shut down due to the "misbehaving" crowds? Should I whine because I am forced to wear a mask for a while when I go out shopping? What about those poor souls who are out there working with masks on all day as they tend to our needs...shouldn't the complaining be left to THEM?
We have gotten soft, IMO...and are mistaking a slight inconvenience for a major problem.

The airlines never closed...but no one is flying because people are scared. Do we blame the "lockdowns" for that? When people are scared, there is nothing that any government can do to "stimulate the economy".

Nah...P.A pretty much NAILED it this time.......just cause you've gotten away with not being stopped....thousands and thousands of SMALL business's HAVE been....and gone bankrupt....the BACKBONE of THIS country....it's going to GET VERY ugly....

In Chicago, the theaters closed down for a while...and then they opened up again. Not a SOUL could have been found there even during the "blockbuster" movies...and yet, the "economy" was opened up again. You can't fight fear with aimless political rhetoric...not even if you are a "charismatic leader" like Trump.

Many people here taunted Hcap and Mostpost by telling them to "lock themselves in a basement"...while the rest of you "brave" folks went out and 'lived your lives'...and you went along with it. Apologize? FOR WHAT? Will you apologize for offering up to me your bullshit "small business failure" excuse...when all along you were complaining about wearing a mask when going out? i go out for a run at 3:00 a.m. this morning because i don't have to wear a mask at that time.. so i am running up and down hills and i see a hungry fox in some ones yard looking for the trash.. 10 seconds later a guy comes out of his house with a very small white poodle on a leash. i got the guy to grab his poodle and put him in his arms and we went into his building and watched the look around for the poodle that he wanted as his lunch. a fox only comes out and night, and only eats dogs and cats if there is nothing else around...the fox is basically looking for bunny rabbits or turkeys. at night you don't see any turkeys, but you do see the bunny's.
