Oh wait maybe boxcar can explain it.
His specialty is time
Oh, I'm well aware that concept and read George Gamow's little book on infinity over 50 years ago. It's still an excellent read.

In "theory" the infinite number of monkeys on an infinite number of typewriters supposedly could do it in an infinite amount of time.
In "reality" they could never write one line of Shakespeare far less his complete works in an infinite amount of time. Anyone who believes otherwise is kidding themselves.

Would that be sexual harassment or sexual assault? and would it be hidden because of the Congressional slush fund for all things sexual?

Maxine is what you get when Al Sharpton and a pug breed. Nothing more, nothing less. She matters only to the rest of the mutts.

Yep, this sure sounds like the mind of a sane Congress woman.

Maxine sure is 'connect the dots' happy. Maybe she has been reading books that have stuff like this.

Again. Why.

Are you saying I can not apply this to Tom for some reason?

Think.
You are assuming hitting keys on a typewriter randomly until infinity can ultimately write every book ever written including Shakespeare and the Bible the Koran and so on.
That will never, could never, and can never happen even if the Monkey theory predicts it could.
Organized intelligence is more than infinite random permutations.
Always has been. Always will be. That's why.

It is not a question of consciousness. But chance and mechanical happenstance. Probability

If you have a finite number of monkeys then you may have to wait. But given in infinite amount of time (and immortal monkeys, etc.), you'll get your Hamlet. Eventually.

Well we'll just have to disagree on that.
Besides, I'm not sure what this has to do with Maxine Waters other than that there is a high probability that she'd never understand one line of Shakespeare far less ever be able to create one.
Perhaps you were subconsciously thinking that when you brought up that theory?

Someone disbelieved the Presidential survey I posted ranking Trump as the worst. The organization.....

Tom made fun of the APSA simply due to their name which includes letters
I then brought up his inability to use letters to create meaning, but added eventually given enough time, he would

No Tom did not make fun of them. Tom was asking what drew your attention... the simple acronym use of LETTERS or the Colors?

I think it's the colors cause.... you so like them charts and graphs. But I could be wrong.

The monkeys would tire of the task long before anything was written - they are too smart to wait for eternity.
It would drive them crazy!
