Casino's Tampa/Gulfstream thread.

Casino- don't see any of the races you mentioned. Looking at Bris, last 10 races, and Feb 16, 2011 6 1/2 fur ran 6th, next race march 4th stretched out to 1 1/16mile winner, those 2 were at Tampa. Went to Thistledowns July 4th ran 6 fur finished 3rd, stretchout to 1m70 ran 4th. Aug. 10 ran 6 fur finished 5th then stretchout on Sept 2 to 1m1/16 and won.
The race looks like a mess overall. Just my thoughts horse by horse:
1-ran poor last race but it was at Tampa
2-only one work since last race and it was over 2 weeks ago
3-off since Sept, but has been in Fla. with2 works at Tampa
4-comes from Penn, with 1 work at Tampa
5-off since August, but has been working at Tampa since Nov.
6-Linda rice, but never on dirt- last race Sept- last work Aug.
7-ran at Tampa, drop in class? been in Fla running at Calder
8-off since Aug. but been running at Calder with 3 works at Tampa
may be looking more at the 7 horse myself this time and looking forward to the stretchout for News. Guess will have to watch the board before pushing any buttons.

Sir Bond sure took a heap of money. 1/5 with 16 minutes to post. I had played Congenial earlier and had boxed them in the exacta. Didn't expect Sir Bond to go off as a big fave though...

Ran 2nd with Crepe Myrtle opned 2 lenghts in the stretch after taking over the lead on the turn,damn Rosi couldnt wait she had to go and it cost her the race.

Congenial wide both turns ranked a bit,wrong part of the track.

Crepe Myrtle just buried me alive had a huge win bet and im still in disbelief after the turn move to take the lead and gave it up in the stretch.Hate this game.

Turning for home I thought to myself "Well you got the exacta, just a matter of if Congenial can hang on for the win." Wrong.

Interesting horse, broke a bit slow, surprised they weren't more focused on the front, drops back as the favorite makes that move, then on the turn I thought looked like a horse meaning serious business, but didn't show much on the straight-away.

Not sure what to make personally Casino..

I only bet it because I thought the favorite (or expected favorite I should say) was garbage. Feel justified in that, had the right other two, unfortunately, horse racing is a tough game and there is often someone there to spoil the party...

Seems like the jock had to use him early to clear and then wide on the turn for home. This horse may benefit from an inside draw, no?

I will be back 2nd week of January a couple of tough losses last week have put me in the shelf,i smell a little slump ,though i fell my capping has been good sometimes thats not good enough.Will post a couple of tampa racehorses to watch one is running
