R5 MSW 56k – 6.5F TURF (3:00 PT)

11 REDHEADS RULE 9-2

7 SHE’S A BIG WINNER 4-1
4 HARRIET TUBMAN 5-1
5 HEARTOFTHETEMPLE 7-2

11 REDHEADS RULE
This filly is a half to both Little Mike (4-time G1 turf winner) and Little Nick (336k turfer was a turf sprinter). Showed speed in debut but was steadied and was basically eased in. Little Mike turned into a different horse when moved to the turf. He was 0 for 4 before and then he won at 8-1 when moved to the grass.

7 SHE’S A BIG WINNER
Awkward start in the debut and she walked in the lane. Improved dramatically when she was moved to the synthetic at DMR. She was 3rd to a good looking Kitchingman runner who came back to win at TUP (allow) and then 2nd in the 79k Blue Northerner at 19-1 (beaten one and in front of Rainha de Bateria). Use.

SA 1-10-15 R9 - CLM 25k – 6.5F TURF (4:39 PT)

9 SHEER TALENT 12-1 Garcia Garcia
8 SNOWDAY 2-1 Van Dyke Hollndorfer
1 COMPARI 6-1 Baze Jones
7 RIVER LEMON 30-1 Perez Sherlock

9 SHEER TALENT

Discouraged by his 0 for 9 with only 1 in the money record on the turf. But he has handled the turf in the past and is coming in off a season best effort and has been 2nd twice in the last three starts and against decent company. 3rd and 7th won back (40k and 25k).

8 SNOWDAY

Was a beaten favorite in the last two starts and for the third time in his last five starts. Last race was flattered when the 3rd place finisher came back to win on Friday at 7-2. Blinkers on for these high percentage connections. Underlay but still a main win player.

SA 1-11-15 R9 - MDN CLM 30k – 6F DIRT (4:39 PT)
10 PAT THE BEAR 9-2
3 BANDIDO TOO 4-1
2 WHISKEY WILD 7-2
9 HE’S DREAMY 12-1

10 PAT THE BEAR

Big drop in class after starting in a good mdn62k claimer. He broke from the 2 post, was off slow and then was steadied. Still only 6 back at the end. Winner won an allw at GG next. Runner-up was 2nd in MSW next. 5th won a mdn 50k. Clockers very high on works.

3 BANDIDO TOO
Was 2nd two back after a slow start and then well-beaten when in for 75k. Has since been gelded and comes back with a very nice worktab. Trainer Yakteen is 3 for 3 with runners gelded since their last start. Winner in last won the G3 Bob Hope in his next start.

I'm singled to this runner (#10 PAT THE BEAR) for the pick 6 and the p4. P6 is paying $3,568 (next lowest payout is 2,4,7 all paying just over 10k). The p4 is tiny, paying $79.

Thanks!! Got tight at the end.....

Nice hit on a small ticket. I rarely play the p6. Not even sure why I did today.

R7 OPT CLM 20k - 1M - TURF (4:00 PT)

7 LUCKY VIEWS 6-1

2 SYNNIN 4-1
6 LUCKBOX SAM 4-1
1 LUCKY J LANE 7-2

7 LUCKY VIEWS
Machowsky is 4 for 17 with 8 in the money w/ comebackers going a mile on the turf. Many of the ones that came back strong were ridden by Talamo. Both mile turf efforts without the blinkers on were solid. Finished in front of a 3 time stakes winner (and recent 3rd in a G2 on the turf here), Awesome Return. Consistent and well-spaced worktab. Looks ready today.

2 SYNNIN
Most of the decent runners on the female tree are turf runners. This one has won 2 of the 3 starts on the grass and they were the last 2 starts, both with Solis aboard. Has made the same backside move to grab the lead turning for home in both wins. 4th in last won back by 7. Slow work 5 days ago is a very good sign.

SA 1-16-15 - R7 OPT CLM 80k – 6.5F - TURF (4:00 PT)

6 BOBBI GRACE 5-2
1 BENNETT JEAN 6-1
5 SEA MONA 9-2
9 TWISTED GINGER 15-1

6 BOBBI GRACE

No question she was best in the G3 last out. She was blocked and steadied for most of the stretch and was full of run with nowhere to go. Wide throughout in the stakes two back but still beat 9 in there. Big rider move to Stevens. Runner-up in last in Ire is a G3 winner. 2nd in the debut is now a G2 winner.

1 BENNETT JEAN
Didn’t take any action in the common G3 in her last start. She was in the 11 post and that probably cost her a real chance. Love the turf pedigree. The dam won 8 times, all at Hastings Park. 7 of her 8 wins came at 6.5F. This filly won down the hill when breaking her maiden. Can sneak in here.

1-17-15

SA 1-17-15 - R7 MEGAHERTZ 75k – 1M TURF (3:38 PT)
7 INDUSTRIAL POLICY 8-1 Nakatani Casse
4 NASHOBA’S GOLD 7-2 Talamo Gaines
3 RUSTY SLIPPER 4-1 Bejarano Motion
6 WINNING RHYTHM 4-1 Fallon Gallagher

7 INDUSTRIAL POLICY
9-1 win in an allowance at KEE back in April turned out to be quite a big win. The runner-up came back to win back to back G2 races for Bill Mott. She was unlucky in the Dance Smartly 4 back. She was blocked most of the stretch. Clockers say she’s working well.

4 NASHOBA’S GOLD

Top notch turf breeding and she has shown it on the track. Was a bit flat after being steadied in the Am Oaks in last. Obviously very talented and if she moves forward from age 3 to 4, she could be in for a big year. Another one that has a nice set of drills for return.

1-18-14

SA 1-18-15 - R3 CLM 25,000 – 1M 1/16 DIRT (1:30 PT)

3 GALLANT CHARM 7-2 Pereira Avila
2 WARREN’S T. BAZE 6-1 Baze Gutierrez
1 MAHALO ARTURO 5-2 Puglisi Aguirre
7 RUSTY ROAD 6-1 Pedroza Pender

3 GALLANT CHARM
Drops out of the stronger set of races. Was 2nd to Songforjohnmichael 3 back and that one came back to win by 6 with a 92 Beyer (vs opt clm). 4th in that race was Crux, who won back. 5th was Jackson Sundown, who beat two of these in here when he won at this level at LRC. Only win was here at this distance. Trainer 3 for 10 at the current meet. Rolls by.

2 WARREN’S T. BAZE
Actually beat the top choice on the turf three back. Show runner in last came back to win for opt 40k (85 Beyer). 7th won back at 7-1 for 25,000 with an 88 Beyer on Jan 4. Attracts Baze who was up in the career debut.

1-19-15

SA 1-19-15 - R9 - MAIDEN CLAIMING 30,000 – 7F DIRT (4:39 PT)
9 SUNSHINE BANDIT 9-2 Talamo D’Amato
8 YOKED 12-1 Pereira Capestro
5 FOLLOW ME CREV 4-1 Perez Yakteen
6 DONJI 5-2 Nakatani Papaprod

9 SUNSHINE BANDIT
Trainer 7 of 17 with 12 in money going MSW to MC. Tried the very impressive Bolo in the debut but was no match. Was pressed into early action going long in last and basically eased in. Big class drop and cutback in distance. Nice start to the SA meet for D’Amato.

8 YOKED
We’re dealing with an awfully low win percentage for this trainer but have to think this one will improve on the class drop from two very strong MSW races. He was gelded since his last race. Capestro 0 for 21 going MSW to MC but did have 7 of them run in the money.

SA 1-23-15 **FULL CARD FREE TODAY**

R2 MSW 56k – 1M 1/16 - DIRT (1:30 PT)

6 CONQUEST SUPERSTEP 1-1
5 ELLE SUENO 8-1
1 PURE 8-5
2 ROADBUG 4-1

6 CONQUEST SUPERSTEP
She is probably overdue after she’s been 2nd in back to back starts. She took the lead at the top of the lane in her last start but was outrun by a Baffert 420k filly in her 2nd start and off at 6-5. The winner 2 back was drilled in the Del Princess in her next start but 2nd in allw here after that.

5 ELLE SUENO
Considered her for the top spot but her backbreeding suggests sprinting. Female tree produced G1 sprinters, Sassy Pants, Madcap Escapade and Dubai Escapade. 5th 2 back was solid. 3 next out winners. Five more ran in the money in next start.
