To change a plea to guilty and STILL be facing 5 years in prison and 3 years probation tells me he was looking at some VERY VERY serious shit.
He's going to be required to serve at least 85% of the five years.
He's also agreed to pay $25 million in restitution.
How in the hell is he supposed to do that?
Doubt the prison laundry pays enough!

One thing to bear in mind is that the people involved in the supply chain probably have other big customers. So there's potentially a large amount of information that a cooperative defendant could provide to the government.
