The dems were salivating at the thought of Reagan being the candidate in 1980. They thought he was the one with no chance.

Oh,yeah...I forgot. You're right. The Statist Romney said he converted to conservatism. Gotcha.

By the way, another reason he'd never get my vote is because he all but wrote off the conservative base recently with his stupid, "I'm not going to set my hair on fire..." remark. Fine. The feeling is mutual. Neither will I give him the right time of day.

There you go projecting again. There are none blinder who will not see. At least Newt has the brass to speak his mind forthrightly and go on the attack when it comes to Obama and his policies. That's far more than can said for the politically-correct, spineless statist you love you so much. You and your buddy and Lefty are so duped and brainwashed, y'all think this big government guy is going to shrink government when he can't shrink a hemorrhoid.

boxy, I agree Newt would be a good candidate to go up against Obama. But my point is he's not going to get the nomination! My point is if we don't get "our" guy no matter who that is, we can't act like spoiled brats and not vote!
We just can't turn this election over to Obama. If you don't vote and Obama wins and puts this country completely into the toilet, then you will have nobody to blame but yourself.

if Bush was the president now and he caught Bin Laden, and he kept our country fee of terrorists, you guys would be praising him for how great a job he has done here.

this guy keeps us safe and you accuse him of sticking us in the toilet!-

i don't like our president for other reasons, but i can't go so far with these insults to him as you guys do.

as far as this country going into the toilet is concerned, don't blame it on obama, it is the result of 30 years of political mistakes, such as repeal of the glass seageal act, the nafta trade agreement, and the lack of regulation in the mortgage industry, come to mind. and before we get into the blame game, it was both parties that were derelict in their duties.

No, I won't blame myself. Although guys like you will. I will blame the Republican Establishment for putting up such a weak field and for Americans settling for those low grade politicians that make cheap, grade B sci-fi movies look like Oscar material by comparison.

I made up my mind last election when I really had to drag myself to the polling place to vote for McCain that that would be the last time I would vote holding my nose. I have grown weary voting against people. If this nation cannot come up with better candidates and Americans don't demand better, then why should I disregard my values and principles and lower my standards to vote for liars, thieves and frauds? Why should I reward bad character with my vote? In other words, Lefty, the moral climate in this country is responsible for the group of candidates the Establishment has given to us, and so now voting for such a bad crop would violate my conscience. At least not voting would keep my conscience clear.

Boxcar
P.S. Thank God there's nothing in the bible that says I have to vote.

Bush water boarded a known terrorist and got valuable intel fro it, enough to prevent a future attack, and he gets nothing but insults and whining fro the left.

Obama is a serial mass murderer and now is some kind of hero.

The left is daffy.

lamby, Obama was able to get bin ladin because of information that came from water boarding. Obama is against water boarding. I don't feel safe at all right now. Afghans are killing our soldiers and Obama is apologizing to them!
I won't be comfortable till Obama's back in Chicago.

While I agree he still gets a bad rap the fact that the right gives Obama no credit for getting rid of Bin Laden is actually quite silly... I mean at least he still is waterboarding people...

You are indeed one sorry individual. I bet when you're really bored, you tickle your funny bone with a feather to keep yourself amused.
