Haskell would be a logical per, but who is going to go Travers-Derby? Too close together.
Do they run Travers first week in August and switch with the Jim Dandy, using that one as a consolation race? Maybe rename it the Plan B Handicap?
And what becomes of the Penn Derby now? Fall Championship for older will be hurt with 3yos probably going from TC right to BC?
Big ??? for the fall.

changes
This is just the latest change on the trail. First the Risen went to 1 1/8, in
two divisions. The Gotham went down to 1 mile. Now the LAD is going up to 1 3/16. Did Churchdowns apporve of these changes?

Are there any updates on the rescheduling of races now preceding the Derby? (Haskell, Travers, etc). I see the Arkansas Derby is now on May 2nd and it seems a few are already targeting that race.
For the Derby itself it would seem like the Travers must reschedule to avoid conflict, maybe to the Whitney card? That would be a great day of racing.
The Dandy and Haskell then to July 4th holiday weekend?
Maybe this is moot and the sport will be shut down by then...

Most likely, none of this is going to matter. No way are they going to be able to put on major races in July, no way does Saratoga run in August, no way is there going to a Derby Labor Day weekend. We will still be distancing.

I still have my hopes up things will resume by early summer. The infection curve in Washington has already flattened thanks to the decisive early moves made by their governor, so I hope to see the same in other areas.
My big question is if the Derby is to be run in Sept will the other two legs follow suit and maintain the traditional sequence, or will the order change?
