Ete Indian will be out of the Trifecta
bet all the money to my name(not a large sum) on Dialed In in the 2011 edition. Got a pair of shoes, and belt that I have to this day.
re-watched the race... Man that was a close one. Shackleford even won the gallop-out...

handicapping for 5th/6th..is hard...lol
2- shivaree
why is the horse even in this race. how can you take him seriously?
3-disc jockey
so how do u prep for a 1/1/8....you obv cut back to 7F from a nice optional claiming type race a 1m going almost 136. questionable tactics to say the least....now based on that that 1m race he could be considered for possible 5th 6th best. ....however ...horse looks lil cheap, and cheap maiden claimers don't seem to menace in these kinds of races either....very definition of trying to make the derby on a dime
4-soros
just by the name alone you use not use...lol....very ambitious placement to make a comeback in first race since november...still if they mix it up the horse can be coming..but the horse goes 138 139 @ 1m while tiz basically goes 141 @ 1/1/16...that's only the length of the stretch difference...lulz
8- my first grammy
the good news is he's gotten better with every start. the bad news is he's a slow maiden......the race to finish a very respectable 5th is on.
12- sassy but smart.
anybody want to tell me how does the GP turf translates time wise to the GP dirt?
based on his last two races he looks plenty of fast enough to finish 5th if not better, if he takes to the dirt
...losing only 1L to vitalogy was a decent race

Sorry Mr. Fischer, Ete Indian is a major player here. Will get "rockstar" status from me with a win. And I think that is a 42% possibility.

I live in Texas so, I can't bet this race or any other race.
#7 Tiz the Law, & #12 Ete Indien, will be the legitimate favorites,
but I like horses with recent races or workouts at Tampa.
#5 Gouverneur Morris, won at Tampa on Feb. 14th and Pletcher/Velasquez are no strangers to winning.
#9 Independence Hall, likes to finish 1st and had a nice workout at Tampa on March 15th.
I don't know why #8 My First Grammy, is in the race.
He is a maiden, not Triple Crown nominated and has a low percentage owner.
I suspect that he was entered to force a suicide early pace or to just get in the way as a favor to another owner, but who?
Let me mention #3 Disc Jockey, because every time I leave a S. A. Joseph, Jr. out, it beats me.

Don't see Ete Indian getting an easy lead and seeing the rail here - the pik with to hit 2, 3, or 4.

Ete Indian - Pretty strong against for the win. I'll lose and be P.O.'d if he wires loose, but it wouldn't 'shock' me (and i'm more on the fence for the Trifecta... Sometimes these races are speed favoring, and this is solid horse. Could run an Irish War Cry type of 2nd or 3rd gapped from the field in the right setup). If there's any competition from Gate-to-1stTurn, I think that's enough to knock him out... If he has to work hard, he may not even change leads today.

I don't like Ete Indien drawn outside again, but he may still be best if Geroux can make a move coming out of the gate like he did last time. Not sure I have confidence he can do that twice. Also not entirely confident in TTL at those odds either given the missed time in February.
Have to think Independence Hall might offer slight value here. I didn't like him in his last race so much (mainly because of the track) and he still ran okay. He might do better with that race under his belt and he's been working decently since.
If Ete Indien loses it's because of his wide draw though. IMHO...

FOUR! Scratches to his inside now breaks from post #8.
Still adverse, and scratches were long-shots, but significant fortune for ETE INDIAN.
I may reluctantly include
