will not b too cold monday. rain forcasted for sun/mon early morning. dry by 6am. and yes who will b the track caller?

How could he stop..
I bet he will get confused at least once. Hopefully they pump the announcer to the outside..makes it 1000x more exciting for the fan

Had a great talk with him tonite. Nice guy, air of competence. He will also be doing the program odds and some analysis between races.

I figured he was down there last nite when I heard Peter Berry say "ils sont partis" at the start of a race.

Sure wish I could make a bet...HPI in Canada not taking the track....nor are my offshore outs.......horse I like in the 1st is 13/1....lol!

i had a nice time.. place was packed! was there to listen to the ribbon cutting.
did not so good with the races. very windy... but the show girls were cute
ps got a new drinking mug! ok $5 dollars....plastic
the tellers were great w/ all that volume....reminded me of breeders cup day at CD when it was 20mins to put a bet in

Glad you had a good time! GM expected 1000 people. My over/under was 3000. The Postman's Picks Tip Sheet did well Monday. The top pick won 4 races, finished 2nd in 2 others, including a photo finish in the last race. (Shameless plug).

nice job, dude....and any human with a pulse plugs himself in some manner or other.......................WHAT an exhibition of pompous dignitaries at the ribbon cutting...all those guys were missing were the top -hats from groundhog day....
