Other Racing Messageboards?
I started on PA, and its the only one i've ever used (well, maybe the nyra boards). What are the other racing boards you post on?

After 169 posts, you should know that this board is the best of all possible worlds. Why look elsewhere?

Ones I post on occasionally, though none even remotely as often as here:
horseracing.about.com (my brother runs the contest there, so I play and post now and then)
thorograph (like to know what some big money bettors are thinking)
trackchampion (truly a bad forum)

Would Macy's tell Gimbel's?
(But you have to say it with a New York, Jewish accent)

I had posted on the AOL board for about five or six years. Some pretty good people there---but not even close to being as polite a message board as this one is.
A lot of nasty political fights would go down over there (just like the OT board here really..but with a little more spirit and name calling)
A lot of fights between the anti-gambling horsey lover types, and the horseplayer crowd...which is a collection of a lot of fiesty, rowdy, and impolite men...like me.
And a TON of chicks on that board...which means a lot of internet cat fights over the course of a year...and the dudes are always going to fan the flames and make everything worse when a chick fight breaks out.
Also tout VS tout fights and trainer VS trainer fights did sometimes break out. It was a fun place....and in the midst of the chaos a lot of good horse racing discussions would emerge. I did play a great role in the aggresive style over their, and seemed to find a way into getting involved in every dispute. So, I'd be misleading to say I was any kind of Saint.
I'll occasionaly look at the Thoro-graph and Ragozin board. I'm always interested in hearing what guys like Brown and Friedman have to say...even though my style of handicapping is very different. I think Brown (of TG) is a pretty impressive and sharp person---but he can also be ridiculious and lawsuit happy. Pretty interesting cat. He's always trying to start nonsense with the Ragozin people.

Sartin Sites
Along with PA, the other 2 sites I check every day are the 2 Sartin Methodology sites: SartinAlums and Vdc Messenger
Nowhere near as much traffic as here, but a tight focus on the recent Sartin programs: Validator and Speculator.

Barntowire is good but as clocker Al probably knows (and Steve Stat Man also knows), one poster sometimes ruins it with his angry at the world tirades.

As nice a place that you'll find on the net. They don't put up with too much bullshot and dump those that do. Folks from all over including Oz and Kiwi land, St Croix, United Kingdom etc. Lively Triple Crown coverage, BC talk, Breeding and general discussion.
Try it, you just might like it! and tell 'em 'sheets sent ya!
