The idea of a Space Force is a very sane and forward thinking idea. One hydrogen bomb exploding in our atmosphere can knock out all our satellites, internet and cell phone communications. There goes everything including online banking and stock sites just to name 2

I wonder what this does to international treaties? It might lead to space war, instead of domineering space wars

There is no need for another military branch for this. The USAAF already has Space Command and is already operating in the space(get it).
More importantly our treaties regarding Space are either defunct, obsolete, or we've withdrawn from them.
Renegotiating those should be a priority.
The memes are great though.
