Even when I win, the market still has a way of making a fool out of me.
From now on, I'm just going to solely rely on my volume indicators to tell me when to get out.
Theoretically I should still be in that trade using the volume indicators. Another 50+ points up...
I still have much to learn.

Let's see what happens.

Silver was at 25.38 right before the open, and then immediately fell to 24.88, in 5 minutes after the opening bell.
Keep watching PM's for opening move....It's a key from now on.

i am thinking that the catalyst for the precious metals markets will be the first rate increase by Powell.

So that's two trades posted in this thread. Complete with entry & stop.
Both were winners....one for 40.75 points profit, the other for 60 points profit on the E-Mini S&P futures contract.
That's $5,037.50 total profit PER CONTRACT
You only need $500 (some brokers are even less) to trade 1 contract...lol
10 contracts = $50,000 profit.
Sure beats handicapping for a living...

those future contracts give you the greatest gamble going in anything imaginable. they have the least amount of juice built into them. beating Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan's algorithms is another story.

I barely average 1 trade a day. I'm not some hyper day trader. I learned that lesson long ago.

barring any surprises (and surprises are aplenty right now), this big down move we've been watching for weeks is officially over IMO.

There are still too many market-moving events in the very near future so don't be too quick to call the end of the down draft.
We have China invading Taiwan, interest rates, inflation data, and the playing out of the invasion of Ukraine. No one knows for certain
the answer to any of these questions. No one.
If you want to make a market call and bet sooner rather than later, I'd monitor the price/volume of Taiwan Semiconductor before anything else.
Congrats and good luck.

I'm not saying it's the start of a new bull run.
Just saying the move from 2/10 to 2/23 is over. That should be obvious by now (barring any major surprises or black swan-type events).

Everyone take note of how massively the market ****ed everybody who bailed out when the Russians invaded.
That's what the market does. It ****s you. Hard.
The one thing lamboguy posted that is 100% correct is that the market is designed to take the most money from the most people as quickly as possible...all of the time.
Idiots who think this is an easy game are just that, idiots.
Market is STILL GOING UP after hours...lol
