So true about a big ego, but, barahona, 'buying' airtime on radio is neither unsavory nor unusual. I listen to two of the most popular and largest radio stations in my area and there are hours and hours of 'infomercial' type shows on, all under the presumption that it's a legit radio broadcast.
Gill was in the mortgage business ages ago so I guess he knows both the dirty tricks and dirty players in that game. He lost his license to sell financial products in the 1980s, which hurt him early on in getting a license in the horse racing game. Of course, he got through all that.
