2020 GOP "Just Let Them Talk" Tour in Full Swing

The 2020 GOP "Just Let Them Talk" tour went into full swing last night with CNN's airing of the Climate Change Town Hall.

Not a single GOP candidate in 2020 needs to lift a finger. All their campaign ads simply need to do is air snippets of this 7 hour gem completely full of batshit craziness.

And in just a few short weeks, CNN will air another 7 hour Town Hall for LGBTQ issues.

Thank you CNN. Thank you.

The majority of Americans including Republicans are concerned with climate change.

One party talks about it.

The other has Sharpie-gate.

In places like Florida this will matter.

Then our Republican brethren here must be an aberration...because they don't seem concerned about it in the least.

Our Republican brethren here land pretty far over on the spectrum.

I'm a socialist now remember?

Concern about climate change is trending up across all party lines.

Concern, in this case, meaning, "How can someone else bear the burden of fixing things?"

I wonder what a poll result would be if the question was worded something like, "Are you willing to pay $8 or $9 per gallon of gas, when it is available, in order to fight climate change?" or "Do you think rolling blackouts can help decrease our energy use?"

Sharpie-gate? by not the sharpest sharpie in the pack.

Btw, for the "Husker"'. Indiana, not to far from Nebraska politically........

How many Americans believe in climate change? Probably more than you think, research in Indiana suggests
http://theconversation.com/how-many-...uggests-118501

.....To explore climate change views, my colleagues and I commissioned an online survey of 1,002 Indiana residents statewide in April 2019. The most reported political affiliation was Republican (28%), though there was a wide diversity of affiliations across the sample. A slight majority were men (52%) and the largest age category was 25-34 (20%).

I found that, overall, Hoosiers believed that climate change was real and was happening. Around 80% of respondents reported believing that climate change was occurring “somewhat” or “to a great extent.”

And......

https://today.yougov.com/topics/poli...-change-storms

September 04, 2019
Hurricanes, wildfires and record-setting summer heat have taken a toll on America. More than half the country (56%) in the latest Economist/YouGov Poll say they expect to feel the results of climate change in their lifetimes and 43 percent say they have felt them already.

If you drove electric, price per gallon would transform to megawatts per solar cell or windmill or per "renewable"

Your fossil fuel fixation prevents new thinking. I know it has been easy so far, bur easy without consequences doesn't cut it anymore

Green New Deal is the kiss of death for anyone who supports it.

A sensible approach to the environment is what is needed.
And it must be WORLD-WIDE, not just us.

Not when some of the biggest contributors in the world ar NOT on board. And not to the ridiculously stupid ends the 2020 Dem wackos want to take it. GND is a script of ridiculousness with only one outcome - total collapse.

And I'm not a republican. I don't believe in parties. Parties are nothing but gangs, or mobs.

Sharp post!
Ask questions that are reality based, not la la land type questions.
Of course everyone is in favor of saving the world and the environment.

Ask them is they are willing to give up driving a car, paying taxes through the nose, giving up affordable light bulbs, giving up meat, farting in a bag, all while watching the Bernie of the world fly around the country crying wolf!

THEN let's see the results.

If the majority believe in CC that just shows how powerful the brainwashing is. Over the weekend an acquaintance made a comment linking current weather (what to expect this winter) with climate change...I've heard and read other people claim likewise for example a bartender in Manhattan while enjoying lunch. To me that is very scary because even if you believe in the greenhouse phenomena and changes brought on by the industrial revolution it is still quite a leap to current weather.

The sheeple are being hoodwinked.

Nobody at my gym, none of the tenants in my building, nor the people at the stop and shop,or anybody else I come in contact with ever bring up climate change.

People ARE SICK of socialist programs. They realize all this talk of free stuff is a bunch of BS that can't possibly be paid for. That the GND is a bunch of BS. That Elizabeth Warren, Barry Sanders and Joe Biden are not the political messiahs they and leftists news agencies like to portray them. They believe in vetting immigrants and not an open border policy. They believe the problems illegal immigrant children face are the parents fault and not the U.S. governments. That housing for illegals are more a priority than they are for homeless U.S. veterans. That lawlessness is being promoted by the left. People want to feel safe.

These ARE things the people the people I talk to, and who are asked to pay for this stuff are concerned with. Make no mistake, there will be a reckoning at the ballot box. The left are digging their own hole.

And very many of your "republican brethren" in Florida don't give two flips about climate change either.

We don't need to debate the merits of the plan(s).

One side has them to address the issue.

The other side doesn't and seeks to deny/minimize/assign blame on the issue.

The majority of the American electorate is concerned about climate change.

The three above statements are all true.

Thanks for the visual.

I'm assume one would use a renewable or a biodegradable bag ... mine would last very long.
