Stettler (5) is realistically placed in her Southern California debut. Excellent work over the surface for Mullins who does well with these types. Fair price. I’m betting against the favorite on top here. Texas Dolly (6) takes a drop on the Maiden claiming ladder, but I still doubt she has the speed or the heart to take this one down. Her off the pace style, also leads me to believe she’ll come up short again today. Suggest spreading underneath in your exotics. Golden Volponi (1) has a shot for a placing, Ready Mode (7) makes her 2008 debut, Pure Refinement (11) drops to her lowest level yet, and finally, Vicki’s Mandate (12) might hang around long enough to make an impact.

Mildly interesting and somewhat fairly matched group line up here. Exquisite Beauty (5) drops in class, cuts back in distance, and gets a jockey switch. Has run well over this surface. No Ka Oi (1) gets the good rail, and might regress off her last. Even if she does, she still figures. Runaway Cozzene (2) also drops in class, and she’ll find the pace up front, more to her liking today. The King’s Lass (3) figures for a piece.

Two Step Salsa (1) is going to try to take them all the way, and I’m along for the ride. Salute the Sarge (3) has been facing the best competition, and will take a lot of beating here. Dixie Chatter (4) will have to fire off the bench, and figures for a piece.
