Fast Start

What track loads and starts races most efficiently? My guess is Turfway Park because if you dawdle there, you'll miss your bet.

Oaklawn does not mess around, either.

There is a known post time and they should all stick to it instead of trying to wring out every freaking last dime. Nothing infuriates me more than seein 2 mtp and then 10 minutes later, they start loading.

If GP had carded a 3 yo race yesterday, they might have has to cancel it when the field turned 4 at 2 mtp.

Gulfstream was for as long as I can remember the premier winter meet in the country, Post time drag and unplayable tapeta has made the Championship meet irrelevant and Gulfstream a joke I know last year their handle was down 30%,anyone know how they are doing this year?

I don't 100% trust my memory, but Mahoning seems to be a track that sends them OFF! at a quicker tempo than other tracks once there is about '1MTP'.

Look at an other track and may miss it.

This reminds me of my time at Delta Downs many years ago. When they'd call Post Time, everyone ran to the window because they knew they only had five minutes to wager. lol

Lol. At least they're consistent.

Some tracks like Gulf stream are slow to begin with and then they have the walk over to the turf course. Then trying to milk those jackpot p6 wagers it's like a death march.

WO and OP have been pretty close to PT call, I agree there.

Didn't GP try a few years ago to actually follow their MTP and PT schedule? I remember it surprising us all... they quickly scrapped that and went back to their old ways? I don't play GP any more but I remember 10 years ago 0 MTP often meant you had a good 5-10 minutes still!!
