But it is great to know from all this that dimwits do indeed believe in conspiracy theories -- selectively, of course, but nonetheless they do staunchly believe in them when it suits their purpose.

I thought it was quite telling when FBI director Wray was asked under oath in front of Congress if the Russian Collusion story was a hoax. He started talking and then was cut off and asked again, "Was it a hoax, Yes, or No."
His answer, "I wouldn't quite phrase it that way."
All he had to do was say NO, but he couldn't. So, it was a hoax.

Was it a case of them believing a conspiracy or pushing an agenda.
It's like election fraud... Democratic don't believe it happens. Even though they set up the means to commit it and carry it out in mass.

Of course, the dimwits were aggressively pursuing an agenda, which is precisely why they could use the "C" word in their narratives. They accused their enemy Trump of conspiring with an "enemy" of the U.S. I mean...how much more unpatriotic could Trump get?
