AODDS Gold 98

Hello All,

Have a quick question and hoping someone can help.

When looking over the horses in AODDS you sometimes come across a name and an X ie, Spirit Special <X> - does anyone know what the X was for? I’ve been all over the manual but can’t seem find it.

Thank you.

Terry, the memory fades, but is it possibly 'highly indicated' or 'best bet' or the like?

I'll accept that's the answer. Though Spirit Special running in PRX 8th Race today is not the first example of a Need to Lead horse which comes to mind (per the above link), hence my guess. ( It's a deep closer).

According to the Aodds 98 help file manual, under "All about the auto-modler", it is clearly stated that an X next to the horses name indicates a "Need to Lead" type horse.

Jim

PS..I do NOT show Spirit Special with an "X" indicator in that race. The only horse in that race with the "X" indicator was #2 Pnutbutter

Thanks All.

Not sure if my example actually had a <X> as I was just trying to give an example of how it would look.

Haven't had the chance to get the auto mod to work as I haven't entered that many results as of yet.

Thanks all.

JimG - do you still use AODDS?

Hi Jim,

I see where you are coming from.
I feel the same way.
The game isn't the same anymore.😞

I can't speak for anyone else but I've certainly changed if not the game. Too old to get fired up.

Aodds

The X stands for an Inactive Tandem Horse.
