I do not accept "identity politics" as the reason polarization has severely accelerated.
The pro-Trumpers have doomed us into a constant struggle between as they stated an "alternative" reality based on "alternative" facts, and what used to be accepted as reality.
Supporting his vile RHETORIC as somehow a good thing and denying the consequences both unintended and unintended against various groups is despicable. As a Jew, and socially concerned LIBERAL, I find it intolerable.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a talented young politician representing the resurgence of a compassionate progressive philosophy which you Chumpsters ignore at your own peril.
Your utter bullish on whether she was a bartender or not, and her alleged thievery, is also despicable. As I said, a bunch of elderly white men fixated on the lunatic alternative Trump reality, are not fit to judge her, or the rest of the diverse new blue wave taking over the House.

The difference is that some play identity politics constantly while others refrain from pointing out differences. Interesting that the more left you lean, the less you believe in the melting pot of society and the more bigotry in all its forms is practiced wholesale.
