Whose idea was it to put on this dog and pony pre-race show. I always thought that Lies the announcer was decent, but why pair him with Cernik, use cut out numbers instead of graphics, then let Cernik give out 1-5’s and make $200 “piggy bank” win wagers on them? Lol

Cernik only got the CT gig in the late 90s because he was the cheapest hire and yet thought he was god's gift to the eastern panhandle

Today's crop of race callers are truly a joke and most have gotten somewhere due to knowing "someone" which includes Stone, Aiello, Dinerman etc.

Strongly agree that todays annoncers as a whole do suck,
I do like Dave Rodman in Maryland and Keith Jones at PARX.

Boomery Wry at yavapai was better than some of these clowns
as well as Dave Johnson circa 1984 when he first started going senile and
calling wrong horses each night at the meadowlands.
