I don't even know who is left running at this time.
I do hope Uncle Chuck win big, and they eventually name a stake after him......the CHUCK STAKE!

He seems like he'll be pointed to the Preakness, unless they really rush him.

Yeah, I can see that. I just assumed this thread was kind of a Derby poll, but now I see that that's not necessarily the case.

I thought there was time for one more race for him before the Derby. Pletcher said maybe the Jim Dandy-I forgot this race was after the Travers this year

I thought that horse was super impressive. I lost track of time/date working from home everyday . He wont have enough time to to earn points

I hope Gamine runs. She looks better than most three year olds so far this year

Has a ridgeling ever won the KY Derby? I did a search and couldn't find the answer

Gamine's next race is going to be very interesting from a handicapping perspective. She's obviously very fast and very good, but I'd be kind of surprised if she duplicates that last figure, especially at 9F at CD.

She's running next weekend in the G1 7f Test at Saratoga.

Not much of a "Test". She can set some blazing fractions and seven panels should be gravy. Just a matter of how well she holds up going nine in Oaks. I doubt she's a 10F horse for Derby consideration. Probably still the one to beat in Oaks but I'll have a hard time singling her on all multi-race gimmicks.

interesting dynamics this year with many of the top horses not needing the points in their final prep compared to most years. Could see some upsets in these final prep races. I suppose the Travers would be the exception but even then I will look at it with a bit of a different view depending on how it places out. I mean do Art Collector and Honor AP really need to win a very small prep race? They may win because they are superior horses but they may be worth betting against.

Wow, I missed that.
That's a good spot for her. I don't think she wants 9F under pressure against Grade 1 fillies on an honest track, but I would have liked to have seen it. The Test she should handle.
Is she still going to the Oaks?

Yeah not likely get to much of a test in the Test. Last I seen she was still pointing towards the Oaks.

hope some people made money. You have to love trainers like John Shirreffs as they are very predictable.
