Please no more Bush
Today Jeb says he is actively considering a run for 2016.
Anyone feel like Bill Murray in Groundhogs Day with the same thing every election?
Hell if he does it he might as well go all in. He could use his older brother for VP making it BUSH / BUSH 2016. That ought to get the masses excited.
or even better he could choose Dick or Liz Cheney for another spin of the wheel with BUSH / CHENEY 2016.
oh man my head is starting to throb already with all this talk of Bush and Romney.

i just looked up the election odds, they have hillary clinton the favorite where you put up $230/100 and the second choice is Jeb Bush $100/800.
before everyone runs to the windows to get down on Hillary, if you bet now and she don't run you lose your $230.

I'd like to see them go younger and smarter, not with the retreads or entrenched political dynasties. Preferably new to Washington or from outside Washington.
a few examples off the top of my head;
Governors - Walker, Jindal, Pence
Senators - Cruz, Rubio, Paul
Put one of those up against the "fresh faces" of the democratic party like Hillary or Biden, or any of the other moonbats talking about running.
There are others, but at this point I like Cruz the best. He's smart and acts like a leader.

Perfect
I'd take some of that action.

Sounds like Obama 6 years ago. Like Obama, he is a first term Senator, a lawyer, no private sector experience, and no administrative experience. Pretty much the same for Rubio and Rand Paul. Those guys are young and have ideas, but they are inexperienced and have shown no leadership ability and they are already starting to look like Congressional lifers. Please, no Senators from either side of the aisle.
I don't know much about Jeb, but I think the Bush Brand is still too toxic for national office.

I would not trust in the media for your opinion, the huge advantage Jeb Bush has got going for him is his team if elected will be top notch. And while you currently have doubts, inexperience needing on the job training will not be an issue.

In the end, things will get resolved during the primary. If another Bush ends up being the (R) of choice, he gets my vote. Simply put, I will never vote for another (D) as long as I live. Not for any office!

There is a good analysis at the National Review by Charles Cooke called Jeb Bush: The Wrong Name at the Wrong Time.
He makes a point about Jeb that I think applies to pretty much everyone in Washington right now, including the young gun Senators.
Quote:
Further, he will have to run not only against the last eight years, but against the last16 – a considerable challenge, and one that can only be met by someone who is flexible enough to explain what the last Republican administration got wrong without alienating his supporters too badly. The brother of the last Republican president, suffice it to say, cannot do this.

Making an informed decision is what you have to credit the voter for in 2016, regardless of name or brand. The person who clearly states a position that involves limiting privacy invasions by the government to terrorists only, and scaling back socialistic trends will crush and destroy the left wing opponent. If the message is right the media will project too close to call, America is wanting someone to articulate this message.

I believe it requires 15% of the polled vote before the presidential debates in order to participate. Consequently, few good ideas will be heard from anyone except whatever two jokers get funded and then propped up in front of the TV cameras. Then the public chooses the lesser of evils. The number of 'millennials' they can get excited about Hillary will probably decide it. Sad story that is.
