Crc cards 2f stake

1st race on Saturday; full field of 12 going a quarter mile for 50K. Should be an interesting race to watch and bet.

Doubt this will format worth a damn, but the Equibase entries list shows it as "Two Year Old and Upward". A 10, 8, and 7 year old per their list. WTF??? Travis Dunkelburger is in for a "1 and run" mount? Looks goofy. Don't recognize it here, but I've seen in SoCal where they bring in a Q-horse jock for these sprintettes.

I've seen race classifications in Europe for "2 YOs and up" but I've never heard of them actually running 2YOs against older horses.

If Colonial runs on Sat. nights, Dunkelberger would have time to get back to Va since the Crc race is the first.

Roger that. Just seems like a lot of effort for a drag race. What's Travis gonna do in 24 seconds that someone else on site can't? I'd bet the horse on that alone if TD shows up.

This is like the 3d or 4th year Crc has run this race. A few 2yos have tried, none with any success.

As for Dunkelburger, I'm almost certain the horse he is riding won the race last year easily at very low odds.

Why I remember this but can't remember to get milk on the way home is beyond me!
