How much is Monmouth giving Baffert to come to the Haskell? They've paid him appearance fees in the past.

I'm sure that was the deciding factor.

not a chance, he already gave away more money than what he is going to receive for appearing at the Haskel, and i am hearing he is going to donate all the money he is getting for this event to the same charity's that he has already given money to.

Darn right he wants no part of Saratoga. We're going to make this a cream puff (cherry pick easy spots from here on in-till we say he stubbed his toe and has to retire before the BC Classic) campaign so we make sure no one ruins the great story.
He goes to the SPA, he runs off the board, like many legends have.

NO way he sees NY again, I agree. I TRULY hope he makes it to KEE for the BC, with real competiton in the race. He will be so overbet and will provide great value to wager against.

Great point. There is no top notch older horse right now who stands out. However, all I want is for AP to have a large field to go against, jockeys who will race ride him-even just a little bit and a field of solid older runners who will seriously try and win. If he wins, I'll be the first to say: I was 1000000% wrong. If he loses, I hope to crush. Either way, great betting value.
If between now and then, no one jumps up, the field is weak, I will just watch the race.
I am hoping between now and Oct, someone jumps up and improves.

The Belmont win and your loss never humbled you as you continue
to wear that anger against the the horse and his connections on your
sleeve .
