Handi Update
Hi guys. Here's the latest. I have been diagnosed as being in advanced Heart failure. How long I have left, No one seems to know. At present I have 3 man made devices in my system keeping me alive.
I am Home on a gazillion meds. Can't seem to concentrate much, so finishing the Handifast upgrade I started may never see the light of day. I am sorry for that, but just can't summon up the energy to get it done. Maybe down the road if I get a little better, but the prognoses for that is not good.
Take care everyone. And God Bless.
Handi

Hello Handi,
I am happy to hear that you are home and able to say hello to us. We have had you in our prayers for a long time.
The program can wait you need to concentrate on yourself, that is much more important.
I for one can say I have had many hours of fun playing around with your programs that you have shared with us on this forum.
Thanks again for your generosity.
God Bless you Handi.

Handiman, prayers for you will continue. Thanks for giving us a brief update. Don't worry about the program, it will still be used and admired for years. No reason to say sorry as you have already done a great job with it. Never give up hope since modern medicine can still work miracles.

Take care of yourself, Handi. As Longshot wrote the prayers will continue. Thanks for your work on Handifast and letting me help out. You motivated me to start coding again and my inspiration to keep doing it. Every time you posted an update to Handifast it reminded me to get off my ass and write some code. Be well my friend, and may God bless.

Hi Handi,
You are an inspiration to all of us, and will over come this. Continued prayers and some day you will finish your update, but now is not the time. I loved working with you, and will look forward to doing it again in the future. Speedy recovery.
Mike

Thank you guys. It's been one hell of a ride for sure. Haven't crossed the finish line yet. Hopefully the race will continue for a long time.

sorry mikesal but I still have a problem..deleted everything and started over as you suggested. The Handifast v11 and the handifiles folders look identical to your screenshots but the temphandi only contains two files: analyst and scales. can't figure this out.

Handi, so very sorry to read this news, but at the same time, happy I *AM* reading something from you!
God I hope and pray that your quality of life improves...forget about HandiFast...you've gone above and beyond in your work on that for all the folks here who use the program.
Just focus on you and improving your health...we all want to see you improve for YOU...not for HandiFast...you don't need to apologize to anybody for anything related to HandiFast.
Keep us updated when you can...you are in all our thoughts and prayers!
God bless.
