Unlike dems, Trump finds a way to cut spending to pay for something else instead of raising taxes!

The brighter side of your world...

Sacrifice military readiness and coordination but don't worry we'll use that money on a parade...

You need to come out from under your bed.
Military readiness is not compromised.

Nope... that's just the purpose of military exercises...

Quote:
“U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy personnel will train with air assets from the Republic of Korea, flying 230 aircraft at eight U.S. and ROK military installations,” read a statement from the U.S. Air Force’s Pacific Air Forces Command issued in advance of the long-scheduled exercise. “VIGILANT ACE is part of a continuous exercise program designed to enhance readiness and operational capability of U.S. and ROK forces.”

The statement continued: "This realistic air combat exercise is designed to enhance interoperability between U.S. and Republic of Korea forces and increase the combat effectiveness of both nations."

That is one of the reasons.
Not the only one.

No he doesn't...

Trump's military parade is now estimated to cost $92 million – $80 million more than earlier estimate

A draft-dodging president, who is eager to flaunt his country's military might.

I think there’s one thing that we can all agree on here:
Donald will never be called “Mr Over-rated”...

No.....you're right about that.
More of a Moscow, Pyongyang, type of thing.

Of course, what Trump wants compared to rest of the country,
aren't one and the same.

The sentiment of militarism is here as in the red block...while we don’t have big brass parades yet, often at any large sporting event it is not uncommon for jets to buzz the venue in a show of patriotic strength...it is meant to impress, the same motive of the red block parades essentially....

only in the red bloc zones, I get the feeling that “the people” deeply mistrust the military, and rightly so as communism was/ is the most despicable, miserable political system known to mankind...

the militaristic spirit is muted here in the US but once the alarm goes out and the rightness of our cause is broadcast, the people roar up and support the troops, and usually the chief. Will be interesting to see the public reaction to so-called “democratic interventions” that seem to always “pop-up” regardless of who is in power.
