i guess it's cliche to say "too young", and i'm in a bad mood
u see "too young" an a guy is 70s now ...
people have health problems, and live at different speeds numerical age is not age
wasn't this guy a star futbol/soccer player? distantly think i've read of a famous handball goal he had, probably for some champion teams, possibly argentina? not something i follow, but he was well known

Good protoplasm (good genes can overcome almost anything) When I was in School in San Francisco, I would often fly to the LA area to visit my parents and there was an amazing fellow who wore WHITE gloves who directed traffic in and out of the parking structures. He did it with such grace, it was almost like dancing.
A few years later on SF TV news I heard that he died and was almost 90.......Said he drank part of a bottle of bourbon everyday of his adult life too.
I met another fellow in clinic who had severe atherosclerosis at age 35 and who was on a very strict diet.
Genetics to the rescue or they can releagate you to the trash heap

In the soccer world he was basically Babe Ruth or Michael Jordan.
There’s him and Pele’ as the two greatest ever to play.
Argentina is in mourning

Probably one of the most famous men in the world. A genius on the football field but a very controversial character. It is a deep shame his off field problems, drink problems and a drug addict, tarnished his reputation. To most people though he will be remembered as one of the best players ever to kick a ball.
Despite all the superb things he did on the field he will be remembered mostly for two goals he scored in one match against England in the 1986 World Cup Quarter Final when Argentina knocked out England and went on to win the tournament.
For obvious reasons the match was always going to be tense with animosity between the two teams and it turned out to be one of the most controversial matches of all time. Over 100,000 in the stadium. The first goal he scored was the famous handball goal where he punched the ball in the goal with the referee about the only person in the world 'who didn't see it'. The second though was one of the best goals (if not the best) you will ever see. Even the second goal was controversial as moments before one of the England players was cynically hacked down right in front of the referee who did nothing and that allowed him to get the ball. We mustn't let that take away from the actual goal itself though where he took the ball in his own half and weaved round several England players before slotting the ball in. Sheer brilliance. He later admitted he cheated for the first goal and called it the 'hand of god'.
Not a popular man in England but most here will still mourn the loss of a man with an extraordinary talent.
Here are those two goals.
The Hand of God Goal
The other goal
Here he explains about the handball

It wasn't off side because the ball came to him off the foot of an England player.
