TVG Streaming Update Sept 2019
I just turned on my amazon fire app to watch tvg, asked if I wanted to update, clicked yes. I'll poke around but so far the main screen which I want for Belmont is just partial. Does anyone know how to fill screen?
I also notice the wager rewards program is ending/then starting anew? Anyone know what the new deal will be?

Arrow down into that partial window, it will be highlighted. Click and it will go full screen.
The new app is extremely user unfriendly, especially switching from main TVG to TVG2 or Racebook.

I’m sure for some that will be a benefit.
I hope iteration #2 of the app consolidates all the racing channels in one grouping, and that after I click to watch TVG2 or Racebook, I don’t have to click again after viewing some screen explaining what TVG2 is.

Seems to be no matter who or what, whenever an update or new webstie is rolled out, it sucks worse than what it replaced.
Why not just leave it alone until a GOOD replacement has been TESTED?

Mine stopped working on Apple TV. Called TVG, pretty clueless. She said they are aware of problems but didn't know when they'd be fixed. Suggested I try deleting and re-installing.
So I deleted it, downloaded again, tried to install but keep getting told the version is obsolete, get a new one.
I did, RTN. $5 more a month but should have done it long ago. It is so much better. Thanks TVG.

I had it on a Amazon fire pad along with Fire TV and it worked great. The update works on the Fire TV but not on the pad. I agree it wasn't broke, perhaps they can have both the old one and the new?

Tvg app update
I went to update my app on the Roku and When I opened the app it asked for my email address which i thought was weird because had the betting account linked already to the app. Real soon it is going to be just a subscription only based app. Very soon you won’t be able to link your betting account. They are pushing the subscription model on the Apple TV update as well . Yes this sucks It’s a cheap cash grab by tvg but At least there are a lot of other streaming options out there
At the bottom there is the Apple TV screen shot of the new app update

Yep looks like they are headed down the charging path. Curious if that means no commercials now and later coverage during the week? On the west coast once you do dinner and chores they are just running infomercials instead of showing the Australian racing. If it is $10 per month for what we have now then it would be no go for me.

RTN $5 a month?
For a computer?
Sounds like a great deal!
I have to check that out.

It's $15 for all thoroughbred tracks per month, I think if you just want NYRA tracks it's $5 a month, at least the way I read it.
I signed up a couple of weeks ago for the all thoroughbred track plan and it's great. Use it through a FireStick on my TV and you get HD display on most of the main tracks.
I had been using Twinspires for video and it is a huge improvement on the display quality. You can also watch the track video through the RTN website on a computer too if you are away from a TV setup.

$15 is pretty good - all I want is on the computer - I have no great need for HD anything.
DISH is $90 a month and I only have it to get TVG and TVG2. I get TVG on cable, so RTN would make up for losing TVG2.
Thanks,
