after-scratch pace dynamics played a role, and was wrong anyway, but probably should have keyed the not given their action on the board and the projected to be last early.

I actually noticed the Luzzi Long-shot in race #2 parade (looked fine and I've seen Luzzi win a cheap race like that once-in-a-blue-moon), but I forgot him by the time I was looking at the form.
After the race, I looked back, and he had ridden the horse previously.

Possible to have made the 2nd race an 'all' race. Lot of thinking for $400
