From Ron Paul MD:
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2020/04/...-resurrection/
Government bureaucrats are also exaggerating the threat of this virus and appear to be enjoying the power and control that fearful people are willingly handing over to them.
On March 24th, the CDC issued an alert stating that doctors should classify “probable COVID-19” or “likely COVID-19” as Covid-19 deaths. Perhaps that explains the seeming drop-off of pneumonia deaths this year and the simultaneous spike in Covid-19 deaths as some researchers have reported.
The BBC reported last week that, “At present in the US, any death of a Covid-19 patient, no matter what the physician believes to be the direct cause, is counted for public reporting as a Covid-19 death.”
Does that sound like a scientifically sound way of determining how deadly Covid-19 really is?

CDC ISSUES NEW TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS FOR CRUISE LINE PASSENGERS IN USA
Under new rules issued by the CDC April 6th 2020, all cruise lines must now offer private non-public transportation to all U.S. passengers to their homes after a cruise ends. No American cruise line guest will be allowed to travel by air or ground with an airline, railway or bus line unless the cruise line arranges private charter services for it's passengers. Rules for foreign travelers are not yet clear. This new travel policy will effectively stop all cruise lines from operating in the USA.

No surprise
Within the US, African Americans have higher infection and mortality rates.
Any thoughts?

All clear in Wuhan
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-after-76-days
Restrictions lifted in Wuhan, over 2 months after pandemic started.
Must be one of the safest places on earth right now.
Can't get a quote on a flight, though.

COVID-19 is a respiratory disease, and unfortunately African-Americans have a higher rate of various lung diseases than other race and ethnic groups, so it only follows that as a group they would have a higher infection and mortality rates.
Why they have a higher rate of lung disease is a more complex question-also I saw that stat was holding true in Chicago, I'm not sure if that holds true in other parts of the country as well, so there could be other factors why it more prevalent in Chicago. And while the number of cases are climbing, it is still a very small percentage of the population, so it could also be a result of a small sample size and the percentage could change as the numbers grow.

It's Cali's Turn to Get CV Crazy
You do know there's a lot more puppet MSM Bullshit still to be played out....The "wreckage" isn't severe enough yet, what will they think of next?..... How about this:
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Residents in San Bernardino County are ordered to wear a face-covering when leaving home starting at midnight Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
According to the County Acting Health Officer, violation of the order is a crime punishable by up to a $1,000 fine or imprisonment up to 90 days, or both.

This is a good post from a virologist, about how different viruses act.
You have to scroll thru his successive tweets to get the whole thing. He holds a BA from Cornell University and a PhD in Virology from Harvard University.
It also explains why the social distancing / masks "works" for this particular virus while there is no vaccine, and how a vaccine will affect it. How it's different from Sars-1 and Sars-2, and how each attaches to cells.
One of the best explanations of the science of viruses I have seen explained for the "layman", meaning us.
WARNING: there are no political comments in the topic. So if you're looking for that, move on. It's strictly the science of viruses in a summary format that I found useful and uplifting. .

....................................
I started tracking the no. of U.S. deaths per CDC day by day
thru 4/5.................... 7,616
thru 4/6.................... 8,910.....................about 1300 more in the one day
thru 4/7....................12,064............
unfortunately, in one day the total increased by a lot; by more than 3,000; much more than the previous day increase
I'm not saying this stat is very meaningful but I will continue tracking day by day and sometimes posting the stats
