Up until the rains came ( and they certainly DO matter) the top two early CJ horses on the inner were like 15 for 18.
Late on the turf blindly is track specific, not blanket.

When it has been hot and dry for a month or more frontrunners do start to win some races on the turf. It still not like they are running on the dirt track during the same dry spell. The other thing is picking who is going to go for the lead in a turf race is at best a tricky proposition. But then again on these tracks the horse with best early pace numbers very often win even they don't take the lead.

Turfers have a style that is repeated day in day out no matter the moisture of the surface save Del Mar where they run on a paved highway putting green track.

Just out of curiosity, when it comes to turf closers do most people just use the last fraction, or the last half? I have always leaned to the final fraction in combination of where they are at the half, just wondering what others do. rbj

Over the years the one thing I learned that allows me longer prices all the time is to NEVER go with all these nit picking, wasted, hair splitting ideas that, in the long run, mean zip parimutuelly.
I watch people agonizing over the minutia while missing the big picture.
You are more than free to hold on to these hollow assertions, be my guest

The good think is I think you might actually bet.
Anyone that was at Saratoga last week was able to figure out that closers had ZERO chance on the inner turf. It was a gold mine. The long run might be different, but last I checked you are betting the short term.

velocity to the final fraction divided by velocity to the second call to get a deceleration ratio...Good ones usually run around 102 to 105%

And you are more than free to type for the sake of typing in an attempt to try and convince yourself how smart you think you are, be my guest.
But Stevie Wonder saw there was a bias towards front runners on the turf recently and the rain appears to have put an end to that. That is what the original poster was expressing. It was correct and it's unfortunate that is being ignored and the thread turned into another one of your "I think I'm smart" threads.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You're just throwing out stuff that has nothing to do with the discussion. Like yesterday when you were touting MTO runners in turf races. It's funny to watch and all, but come on man. Get a grip.
Maybe a few days away from the computer to recharge the batteries could help.
