The incumbent curse: As I mentioned in my Bush-Kerry and Obama-Romney pieces, an incumbent president usually struggles in the first debate of a fall campaign. (Also as mentioned, incumbent Jimmy Carter’s first debate against Ronald Reagan was his only debate, which magnified the effects of his relatively weak performance in that one.) For most presidents, this is because of the preceding years of deference from all they meet, who don’t dare say, “You’re just wrong…” How this will affect a man like Donald Trump, I dare not guess.

[QUOTE=jimmyb;2657446]Joe's debate gaffes...
One in five African Americans died from covid.
I watched the entire debate and rewatched the Covid segment. There was no mention of African Americans in the Covid segment. Biden did point out that one in five deaths worldwide were American.
Called Amy Coney Barrett a justice. She's a judge.
So Petty
Mixed up 200,000 with 200 million.
Biden stutters. That’s a fact. You’re the guy that bullied stutters. He corrected himself immediately.
Misquoted Kelly Ann Conway
Claimed to be from the suburbs. Scranton is the sixth largest city in PA.
You’re ignoring the fact that from age nine, Biden lived in Claymount, De a suburb of Wilmington.
He's not for the Green new deal. His running mate is.
How is that a gaffe?

In the unlikely event you produce a name, let's investigate the relationship. Is it close, like hanging around Robert Byrd close? Or something you can't prove factually

Bullshit
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/...dential-debate
o my question to you is, you have refused in the past to talk about it, are you willing to tell the American tonight whether or not you will support either ending the filibuster or packing the court?
Biden refused to answer, something the Trump quickly challenged.
You can see that Biden made a nonsense statement to avoid answering whether he will preserve the filibuster and the Supreme Court’s current system of nine justices. Shamefully, Wallace let him get away with not answering. Wallace surely understands that Biden’s handlers plan to end the filibuster so that they can pack the court and add D.C. and Puerto Rico as states.

As Obama's fellows did after his less than sterling initial debate performance against Romney.

Confidential sources tell me that Biden also used FDR's leg braces to "angle walk" to the podium and stand there, bolstered by JFK's back brace. Not sure if he used JFK's Dr. Feelgood, or whether Obama himself supplied from his own stash.
This kind of CRAP has a long history in the Democrat party - public deception with the help of the news media.

I hope so.
It is pretty evident that Biden has no plan, no great idea. What he said last night and what is on his website do not agree. He refused to answer KEY questions about the SC and his pitiful COVID talk was pretty much a summary of what has already been done, except travel bans, which HE said were racist. Thank GOD he was not POTUS then, or we would be over a million dead by now Anyone with a brain and paying attention last night might not like Trump, but only a moron would back Biden after that.
Trump acted badly but anyone who is basing their choice for leader of the free world on a person's personality is a dimwit. I said many times I do not really listen to Trump -- I focus what he gets done and then listen when he talks about it. You guys ignore it.
You guys are so one-dimensional bots, chest pounding and totally missing the reality of it all - Trump said it best....
"I have done more in 47 months than you have in 47 years."
Oh, wait, time for a FACT CHECK.....Biden DID get something done - he helped pass the law that unfairly put tens of thousands of Black Men in prison for crimes White men got fines to pay.
When it comes to drug prison time, BLM......thanks to Joe.
