Last Year for Deadwood

Don't know if all the Deadwood fans here caught that, but HBO did not re-sign the cast so this season is it. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, I know that Deadwood is their second most popular show.

With both the Sopranos and Deadwood going away, I think my HBO account will soon be going away also. I certainly don't keep it for the movies. How many times can you really watch Million Dollar Baby anyway?

The Sopranos was the best show ever and Deadwood was pretty darn good as well.

They are going to do two, two hour movies in the next two seasons.

The cost of producing the thing is astronomical. Think about the set and how many different characters are involved in the plot line.

they are going to a movie format because in the long run, it's cheaper
