I know there are people here who are fans of Session and believe he's working "silently" behind the scenes getting important things done. I personally, however, have had my doubts about this guy. But here's an interesting perspective on Sessions:

Interesting read, especially about Sessions' hand-picked prosecutor from outside DC but with beaucoup years of experience at the DOJ. Equally interesting is the speculation about the timing of this guy's appointment.

Perhaps Trump and his AG are top secret tag team champs, and I've been rope-a-doped. If so, I wouldn't complain.

Whatever Sessions is doing, I do not see or hear many results.

I am starting to wonder if Sessions was a plant all along and wants to protect people like McCain and Clinton, rather then help Trump.

I think Sessions is another D.C. insider POS. I hope they prove me wrong but I'm not holding my breath.

Come the middle of January, after both Houses of Congress are sworn in, Donald Trump will do what he previously was 'forced' not to -- that is fire Jeff Sessions, fire Rod Rosenstein, fire Bobby Muller and end this hoax investigation.

Since this is a 'Jeff Sessions' thread, I'll leave with this:

Jeff Sessions did President Trump a disservice and the American people a disservice when he took the job of Attorney General despite knowing full well that he was going to recuse himself.

Jeff Sessions has proved to be a small man with little class and character (and time proved even less brains).

Shame on him for dishonoring the country and our President.

I believe Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III has appointed investigators upon receiving criminal referrals from the IG for criminal activity that occurred after January 2017. By law our AG can not impart anything to the Executive branch, this does not mean nothing is going on. I do expect a roll out of indictments, lets see which scenario plays out in the news soon.
