Whatever happened to The Works?

One of the few good things about TVG. Gary Stevens decides to bolt to HRTV and they close up shop on it? Or would CDI not allow it? I seem to remember TVG running the show last year. Then again, considering the scum that is CDI, I'm guessing they won't let TVG into the facility.

Why would TVG possibly have the show?

They can't take bets on the Derby.

They can't take bets on Churchill.

They can't show the Derby on TVG.

Are you serious?

OK, Mr. Smartass, TVG couldn't take wagers on last springs CD meet, so why did they have the show? In other years, HRTV would run Keeneland's replay show even though they didn't show their live races. TVG shows odds on Santa Anita races but only shows a few stakes races, and those are on tape delay......

Because last year they were hopeful and under the impression that they might be able to work out a deal to accept wagers.

This year there is absolutely zero chance of that happening.

You are the one who asked the question Mr. Dumbass.

They probably show the Santa Anita odds because they take bets on those races Mr. Dumbass.

I could be wrong, but although TVG had the Derby Works on for a few years, I seem to recall that they DID NOT have the Works on last year, not for the Derby. I remember that I was surprised that they did not show the Works for the Derby last year.

Some things don't change. Inside the Pylons was an asshole a few years ago, and he remains one in 2008.

You guys realize that CDI is now a fifty percent owner of HRTV?

Why do you think "The Works" disappeared, and "Target Louisville" is now the onsite show for all the Derby Workouts?
