You said that right after I criticized William Quirin...and then you told Cj..."we both know whom I am referring to here". Stop hiding behind your finger, Bob. You are a horseplayer with 60 years playing experience....when will you start acting your age?
I will repeat once again...for the benefit of all who care to know:
Quirin never intended to conduct his handicapping research so he could write a book about it. He was HIRED to do this research by the legendary gambler "Al Francesco"...who employed Quirin for his own (Francesco's) benefit. But the research didn't survive deeper scrutiny, and Francesco scrapped it. And then Quirin, without Francesco's permission, took the abbreviated, "profitable" research and ran with it...leading to a "best-selling" handicapping book. I heard this straight from Al Francesco's mouth.

And this caused bobphilo to unprovokingly attack me by claiming that I am some sort of archaic handicapper, who clings to outdated handicapping methods...and can't recognize a "scientific research" when he sees one. Was THAT not "uncalled for"? You know me here...and you've read what I have submitted to this board over the last 11 years. Do I strike you as the sort of "archaic handicapper" who needs to take handicapping lessons from the 'bobphilos' of the handicapping community? Do I need bobphilo to teach me about "pace-handicapping"...as he presumed to do in that other "pace-pattern" thread which he started here? If bobphilo and I got involved in a handicapping contest...could it be that he is under the impression that he would WIN?

I like cj, probably missed that as I don't recall this at all. I am also a little bit behind on threads read here on PA.
Since some people think cj & I are the same person, this will add more fuel to that useless & idiotic conspiracy theory...lmao
You guys are WAY too serious at times on these horse racing threads...what do you think this is, off-topic?
If bobphilo is as bad as you and RR make him out to be, he'll be banned soon enough I suppose. From the limited amount I've read thus far though, this smells all too much like massive overreaction and "fighting just to fight."

You might want to get the facts as to what I actually said before accusing me of "wild claims"

I never said that bobphilo was "that bad"...nor did I ever suggest that you "ban him". In fact...I am the guy who asks you to bring the banned posters BACK...REMEMBER? And, I don't like to "fight just to fight". Whenever people attack me or question my handicapping methods, all I have to do is challenge them to a handicapping contest. And that stops the "fight" right there.

I would say that about NYRA tracks.
Never seen such forgettable racing as they card.
PRX and PENN are tops on my list.
Much better racing to bet on imho.
