Based on the fact that futures gapped up on the open tonight and RTY is now +12pts higher then Friday's close, I'm kinda happy I decided to close out the short early.

And for those wondering, my method would have gotten me out of my last short at around 1784 had I followed the method exactly and held short over the long weekend...so I wouldn't have been holding short currently if I had not covered Friday at the close....so that was a net-win for a change

37 trades....11 winners

11 for 37 = about a 30% win rate

simple, right?

+85 points in NET PROFIT over those 37 trades

each point is worth $50 per contact

if I trade 1 contract, I've made $4,250 since 10/17

if I trade 10 contracts, I've made $40,250 since 10/17

It's just like trading stocks...but I'm trading futures contracts instead
