Nice work finding those long shots! 
This is on a personal note and it is only a suggestion:
I think it is fine that you are releasing all these spot plays for us BUT if I were you I would look back at the winners and place horses to see what kind of characteristics they possess to see if they have any of the same angles going for them like class change distance change etc etc
That way if you are looking to narrow down your spot play selections (so you can save $$$ too and minimize your losses) you can find the angles that worked for those big longshots and have (hopefully) the same success when applying it to your selections!
Just a suggestion like what I said

Of course I have to agree with you. I'm disappointed in results so far and I'm using too many marginal horses. January was just a bit under break even. February was ugly with returns less than dart throwing. March so far is about break even. After the February fiasco, I promised to pull the plug if March is also negative.
If so, I'll take a break and see if I can tighten things up using your suggestions.
