I can see major deflection in this thread.
I brought up a point that the President and his policies are unpopular in house swing districts and Pelosi is a non factor ad I get crickets.

You brought up a local anecdote, and applied it nationally with a broad brush. Let me ask you this. What is a swing voter? Libertarian? right leaning Dem? Left leaning Republican? Independent? Also, which policies of Trump's do swing voters like and not like? Here are some of his broader policies:
Lower taxes
Less regulation at the federal level
Controlled immigration
national security - multi-faceted in defense spending increase, border control, Iran, ISIS, NK, etc
Our world partners shouldering their share of the financial burden of freedom
Fair trade
Sensible gun regulation that doesn't trample the 2nd Amendment
School safety
Attack the opioid crisis
Which ones of those don't swing voters like?

Lower Taxes? On what planet?
In Jersey we will be paying MORE due to the part of the tax law that disallows deductions of state taxes paid.
Same for Callie, New York and other high taxes states.
Jersey people dont care about immigration is wayyyyyyy down on the list
and Jersey has the most gun control laws in the nation with more on the way. No candidate brings up the second amendment here.
school safety, thats a laugh. arming teachers, thats no solution.

The last Election? Do you mean Arizona-8, or the one before that PA-18 or the one before that where the dem a state won a state-wide race in dead red alabama.
You partisans are going to look silly come election day 2018 when the chickens come home to roost.

Ah, so the problem is taxes. You don't see state govt being to blame for your high taxes, only Trump because he no longer allows my tax money to subsidize your out sized appetite for spending. Not my problem man. Suck it up and either accept the higher apparent taxes for your social programs, or reduce your social programs.
I don't think Trump and the GOP are sweating high tax states. High tax states (New England, CA, NY, NJ, WA, and OR) currently have 96 Democrats in Congress versus 35 Republicans. Nowhere to go but up. There aren't many "swing" districts in those states.
The rest of your drivel is just that. Anecdotal at best, with an over abundance of blindness mixed in.

That may well happen, but with all the hollering about how the GOP has NO shot, we will not come close to looking as silly YOU guys did the night of the Trump in 2016!

Since it is so obvious to you, maybe you can explain the obvious to those of us less perceptive.

Why would minorities be the only ones to send money to the DNC in response to all this racism peeking out at us around every corner (according to Dems, anyway).

I don't get this: I though leftists loved to pay more taxes because the more you pay the more patriotic you are?
Biden calls paying higher taxes a patriotic act
http://www.nbcnews.com/id/26771716/n...patriotic-act/
What am I missing here? I've never seen so much whining by liberal cry babies over paying higher taxes. I thought this was what libs lived for and dreamt about on their beds every night.

They want the tax rate over $250K to be 100% so they can get more 'political donations' and money to spend...
