Last race watch list horses running tonight:
Race 5 Starlight Knight (5-1) Was forced three wide going into the first turn, became slightly rank in the first turn after a runner directly in front of him also was throwing his head around. He continued in the three path on the backside while racing at the rear of the pack, made a nice move in the turn for home while being forced out to the four path, started to drift in when he straightened up in the stretch while running on his wrong lead, when he did switch he re-gathered himself and continued on well to the wire only to be beaten by the second betting choice who had a much easier trip.
Race 5 Speedy Wally (5-2) Was up closer to the pace than normal while being asked to do so, but was unable to find himself to the rail in the first turn and raced in the 3 path. Rispoli settled him in the back half of the field on the backstretch, was asked by the Italian to pick it up but was still unable to save any ground, ran evenly in the stretch not being able to get near the front runners.

HONG KONG - SHA TIN - SUN 9/9/18
Good evening and soon to be morning to everyone interested in the best racing product on the planet!
This is the 3rd race day for this meet. So, I thought I would stop by and post a few pre-race selections for another competitive card that looks to offer some decent value.
There will 10 races at Sha Tin with all 8 on Turf and 2 on the Dirt: (from top to bottom) -
(1)-Class1, (0)-Class2, (3)-Class3, (4)-Class4 & (2)-Class5
Post Time Race #1 12:50 AM SUN EST
Current Hong Kong Weather: https://www.google.com/search?q=Hong...hrome&ie=UTF-8
TVG is offering live video for the all 10 races.
Theres also Live Video on:
http://www.drf.com/drf/live_video/hong_kong/392221
If you can't view the races try listening on the HK Jockey Club radio: (Click on English) http://www.hkjc.com/english/press/live.asp#
For those of who might appreciate the value of the LIVE tote action its available here:
(Hit the Back Arrow <-- in the Upper Left and then Click on English)
http://bet.hkjc.com/default.aspx?url...ng=en&dv=local
Ive already taken a look at the M/Ls in combination with the early odds and used the static tote analysis to come up with the preliminary picks for each race. Later, the Live tote analysis will shed some more light on these and any others I might have missed. The latest tote action (by 4 mins to post) may reveal some things that cause substitutions among the Top 3 picks, but they generally look fairly decent for some nice Quinella & Tri scores.
BTW the Top 3 picks have continued to produce some nice Dutch Win returns when the combined odds produce Profit Margins higher ^ than 50%. When I cant make a Dutch Win bet Ill generally pay more attention to the Quinellas and perhaps even a Triple play if the combined values add up to decent return.
Good Luck if youre playing!

Race 2 Split Of A Second (4-1) Showed early speed when he was stretched out slightly to 1400 metres but stopped badly in the stretch and was placed on the Vets list afterwards, now draws the 11 hole with the short run to the backside turn and may have trouble soon after the start with his speed rival breaking just under him.

Last race watch list horses running tonight:
Race 2 Fire And Gold (11-1) Was lucky enough to get Purton for the run at the end of the meet when he was in the battle with Moreira for the Jockey Championship. Settled just off the pace behind the fight on the front end while racing in the two path, started looking for room entering the stretch but was herded by Chadwick, then had to be taken up at the 230 metre mark when Hard Ball Get started tiring and drifted into his path and then bumped pretty hard by Chadwick on Fortune Hunter, was wrapped up afterwards and galloped out for the last 150 metres.

CheckMark, he means that he believes that racing offered in Hong Kong ('racing product') is the best racing in the world. Biggest fields in general, deepest pools for betting, best oversight of rules of engagement by all concerned, least shenanigans, etc.
Can't say that I disagree with that at all!

Very nicely articulated Ted, however I felt my opinionated statement stands on its own merit and really shouldnt require further clarification. As many here probably already know that I am one of the few advocates of Hong Kong racing on this forum as many of my previous posts have demonstrated.
BTW I can acknowledge the truth in your comment only because Im told that you and my mentor have been corresponding on many positive aspects of Hong Kong racing quite a bit. I would also like to mention the name of another avid and very successful HK player who hes been in touch with, but I feel its not my place to share in those endeavors.

Absolutely! And Im sure youve noticed my positive comments about KD on that other thread. What I didnt mention was the success I had due to the judicious betting patterns provided by those who were also playing the races there. Aside from a few obvious factors, the overall product of that short meet was the closest Ive seen to the HK model here in the States. Its no wonder that it was once again so well received by the betting population.

HONG KONG - SHA TIN - Sat 9/22/18
Good morning to everyone interested in the best racing product on the planet!
I wanted to stop by and share some pre-race selections for another very competitive card that looks to offer some decent value. There will 10 races at Sha Tin with 7 on Turf and 3 on the Dirt: (from top to bottom) -
