And the clueless at HRTV can't figure it out, they think somebody hammered the other 6 to 5 shot late, not that money was removed late.

I'd like to see this myself. If true, how can it not be illegal?

It isn't illegal because somebody is allowing the person to cancel. It is true, there is NO doubt about that. The amount wagered on the horses in question is always less at off time than it is at some points during the betting.

Why are people still surprised by this?

Does anybody here really think that Mountaineer is still in the horse racing business?

Seems that pool manipulation would be illegal. Deciding to cancel large bets late in the betting for whatever reason, ROUTINELY , could be stopped.

Still, I'd like to see a pool capture showing this in action.

PS the Mountain is a PUBLIC COMPANY. They should be sensitive to something like this.

Its probably more immoral than illegal. If the ADW or track permits you to cancel large wagers and you cancel them, you're just doing what the track is letting you do. Its up to the track to put a stop to it, i know for sure Mountaineer is losing business because of this nonsense.

It's pure bred filth how they let this go on....

Zero minutes to post I see a 2/5 and go $10 ex with the 4th 5th and 6th choice then race goes and he's 6/5.......BUT I don't worry about it cus I don't even bet there anymore....I see Mnr people post here what do they have to say about this

To show u how much I dislike betting the track I can be on stone tilt after getting beat on wire in 2 races I see them loading at Mnr I don't even bet it...

I'd love to see these guys cancelling her arrested for manipulating gambling pools....any way u slice it it's fraud or conspiracy and people are getting beat financially cus of it

Avoid it like the plague is correct.....and the teller that's letting this go on should be fired too or if it's on the computer should be shut down like Internet poker was a few years ago....

Very wrong

I think you guys are being too hard on the Mountain.

Seek value, like the 10yo mare who won the 8th tonight, 3rd in a row, 9 for 25 at the distance, small field and 10-1 for your trouble.

Some idiot betting 1/9 shots should not be the focus.

imo many of these 5000 claimers are sounder than the 50k stock in NY.

I calculate my loses by the month and a average bet for me $10 a race. At the end of the month I am generally in the 10% to 12% bracket. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

You guys are making a mistake by not betting there. All money is good. Listing to Mark and Nancy is nice, [ok..ok..I like them].

Do I think that mad bomber needs to be hooked...yes. Will it be done by any one here...NO. That is what place and show pools were made for.

BTW, enjoy memorial day and remember our vets!
They are ours. Send $25 to the local VA hospital fund.
