Rosengren’s last day will be Sept. 30 — the date he and Kaplan said they would sell all their individual stocks by, after coming under scrutiny for trades made during the pandemic; Kaplan’s last day will be Oct. 8.
Smart move.....

Staying in office would have cost them millions on their investments...

So quit, sell, find another position...or get rehired in a few months...

Market hit again....

but

still closed at around 20 moving average...

A lot of the big tech stocks are marked around "fair value" now

Is it near the end of correction?

Pre-Markets up for tomorrow...

Lets see....

There's been NO correction...Fair value? Seriously? Have no idea what you're talking about.

Where was the correction?

Do you realize how much ALL stocks have to correct to be "fair value"?

Explain why you say the opposite, as you did in your confusing post.

This is actual babyshit compared to an real correction...which...if you go back to the rally that started after the COVID drop, would look something like the attached.

PS. the only saving grace today had was that the volume wasn't as impressive as it should have been, if this is going to have any meaningful follow-through.

The fact that the market is this quickly looking like it's going to test the 100MA again after closing above the 50MA following the first touch of 100, should be a warning to bulls.

interesting statement because in the last decade the volume hasn't been that stellar on the way up. the question is going to be, did the equity markets price in future inflation? i am going to guess that it did, and that would be the reason for the ride to the upside with low volume. i am going to speculate that inflation is priced in and that the S+P now wants to go visit his friends, ultimately at 2500. i have been wrong the whole decade and I keep asking myself why should i be right now?

thanks guys....

I know the real meaning of a correction is 10% but when I'm down 13 grand from my high in 3+ months , I have to call it something that is appropriate on this site...

As for "Fair Value"

Just taking it from Yahoo .....

Tech stocks have been over valued for a while now....

To see it like it it now , shows promise that its near normal...???

I could be wrong....

I take back the above. The volume was actually pretty good...good enough actually...to make me think there is more downside to come...

markets only do 1 of 3 different things, it expands, contracts, and stays stagnant. markets tend to get driven to the last time it had high volume. when it breaks all-time highs there is no volume to chase to the upside. but when it does go up with a lighter volume than the time it went down the low point that had the volume needs to be tested before it goes up again.
